Social Media IQ, a product and service operated by BRIDGE IQ, LLC, respects your ability to control information associated with your account and connected social media services.
This page explains how to disconnect a connected account, request deletion of your Social Media IQ account and eligible associated data, and request deletion of data associated with a Facebook authorization.
1. Canceling a Subscription Is Not the Same as Deleting Your Data
Canceling your Social Media IQ subscription stops future subscription renewals according to our Cancellation Policy.
Cancellation does not automatically delete your Social Media IQ account or associated data.
If you want your account and eligible associated information deleted, you must submit a data deletion request as described below.
2. Disconnecting Facebook
You may disconnect a connected Facebook Page from Social Media IQ using the available connection-management options within your Social Media IQ account.
You may also revoke Social Media IQ’s access through the settings provided by Facebook.
Once authorization has been revoked or the connection has been disconnected, Social Media IQ will no longer use that authorization to retrieve new Facebook data.
Disconnecting Facebook does not delete your Facebook account, Facebook Page, posts, or other information maintained by Facebook.
3. Requesting Deletion of Your Social Media IQ Account
You may request deletion of your Social Media IQ account and eligible associated information.
Send your request to:
Use the email address associated with your Social Media IQ account whenever possible and include “Data Deletion Request” in the subject line.
Please do not send passwords, access credentials, complete payment card numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information with your request.
4. Facebook Data Deletion Requests
If you have authorized Social Media IQ to access a Facebook Page, you may request deletion of information associated with that authorization.
You may initiate this process by:
- Disconnecting Facebook from Social Media IQ and submitting a data deletion request; or
- Removing or revoking Social Media IQ through the controls made available by Facebook.
Where Facebook sends Social Media IQ a valid deauthorization or data deletion request through its platform mechanisms, we will process the request according to applicable Meta platform requirements and our data retention obligations.
5. What We Delete
Subject to applicable legal, security, and recordkeeping requirements, a valid account deletion request may result in deletion or de-identification of information such as:
- Your Social Media IQ account profile.
- Connected social media account information.
- Authorization information associated with connected accounts.
- Social media data retained specifically to provide your Social Media IQ reports and analytics.
- Account preferences and related application information that is no longer required.
- Other personal information that is no longer reasonably necessary for a legitimate business or legal purpose.
Deletion of information from Social Media IQ does not delete information independently maintained by Facebook or another third-party platform.
6. Information We May Need to Retain
Certain information may be retained when reasonably necessary or required for:
- Financial and accounting records.
- Transaction and subscription records.
- Fraud prevention and security.
- Resolving disputes.
- Enforcing agreements.
- Compliance with applicable laws or legal obligations.
- Documenting or completing a data deletion request.
When information must be retained for one of these purposes, we will limit its continued use to the applicable purpose and retain it only as long as reasonably necessary or legally required.
7. Identity Verification
To protect customer information from unauthorized deletion, we may need to verify your identity or your authority over the Social Media IQ account before completing a deletion request.
Verification may include confirming access to the email address associated with the account or requesting other information reasonably necessary to establish account ownership.
We will not ask you to provide your Facebook password or Social Media IQ password by email.
8. Processing Your Request
After receiving and verifying a valid deletion request, Social Media IQ will process eligible information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, applicable legal requirements, and applicable third-party platform requirements.
Some information may remain temporarily in backups, security records, or other systems where immediate deletion is not reasonably practicable. Such information will remain protected and will not be restored to active use except where necessary for legitimate recovery, security, or legal purposes.
9. Facebook Deauthorization
Removing Social Media IQ from Facebook or otherwise revoking authorization prevents Social Media IQ from continuing to use that authorization to retrieve new Facebook information.
If you later choose to use Facebook-connected features again, you may be required to authorize a new connection through Facebook.
10. Subscription and Billing Records
Deleting your Social Media IQ account does not necessarily require deletion of transaction records that BRIDGE IQ, LLC must retain for legitimate accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.
Deletion also does not reverse previously processed subscription charges.

11. Third-Party Data
A Social Media IQ deletion request applies to information controlled by Social Media IQ and BRIDGE IQ, LLC.
Third parties such as Facebook, payment processors, and other independent service providers may maintain information under their own privacy and retention policies.
You may need to contact those providers directly regarding information they independently control.
